DOOR LOCK SURROUND FOR ANTI BURST DOORS

This is plastic trim piece that goes round the door lock on late Series 3 models and Military defenders where the lock barrel protrudes through a hole in the door skin. This also fits our Anti burst door bottoms we do for Defenders.

This is fits the lock holes on Defender rear doors 1983-2002

(as opposed to the type where the lock barrel is within the handle aperture and therefore requires no surround)

Equivalent to LR part number: EKC000030PMA

Internal hole diameter is 1.9cm

External diameter is 3.1cm

Unlike the original type which clips into place, this has 3M extra strong sticky tape on the reverse which you simply unpeel and press the item onto the door around the lock. The benefit of this is that the lock barrel doesn’t have to be perfectly centre within the hole cut out in the door skin (the ones which are clipped in needs to be dead centre with an equal gap all round to be able to fit)

This literally fits within seconds and is stuck on much tighter than the original clipped one so will not fall out or get blasted out with a pressure washer like the originals!

3M tape is what Land rover uses to stick its badges onto Range rovers etc so sticks on very strongly!

Finishes of any door nicely as these are nearly always missing, damages or faded and sets of any new paintwork!
