Description

Galvanised Rear Door for Land Rover Defender 90/110 To Fit All Models Between 1983-2002

This is a high quality UK made door with exact pressings as per original

The frame is hot dipped galvanised and the aluminium skin is marine bonded to the frame to prevent corrosion through the two surfaces rubbing together. This also stops the drumming effect & makes the door feel a lot stronger & tighter all around.

The aluminium skin is bare on the inside of the frame not black as in the photo

Being a premium part the door comes with all the holes and welded in nuts already in the frame so everything from your old door will just swap straight over without modification. Wheel carrier holes can be drilled if required.

This is made in the UK to precise and exact tolerances, you will not find better quality on the market!

This is a direct swap for your old rusty door with no modifications needed.

Please note, when fitting any replacement rear door, you may need to elongate the 6 hinge holes in the body to give you full adjustment. When Land Rover fitted the rear door on the production line, the 6 hinge holes in the body where only drilled after Land Rover offered the door (with the hinge bolted onto the door) into place on the vehicle. Wherever the hinges lay on the body, a factory worker would then drill the holes in the body by hand even right up to end of production in 2016. As a result the hinge holes in the body of every Defender does vary and after measuring many vehicles we have found they can vary by as much as 10mm in any given direction. A lot of the time you will not need to do this, however if you do it is easily sorted by running a drill through back and forth to elongate the holes and is nearly always covered by the hinge.
