The glass has an 85% limo
tint so looks black from the outside but you can still see out from the
inside. This is proper tinted glass, not stuck on film
Are your current windows
rattling or leaking or want to go from the standard clear glass? Then replacing
the units with full brand new units like these is the best way to go
Also ideal if you are
converting a solid panel van to County spec, as having windows in the side of
your Defender greatly improves visibility and also the light into the cab
The window cutout is the standard
size which is 1058mm wide by 427mm high.

these into a van model, we also sell the template to mark out the cutout under
part number BG1219
We use OEM style window
latches to match the factory fitment, most other replacement sliding windows on
the market come with different design latches which look completely wrong
We have had these made
to the 2004-2016 specification which has the 50mm radius on the top corners and
70mm radius on the bottom corners. The reason being that these 50mm/70mm
windows will replace both the earlier 1983-2003 windows and also the 2004-2016 windows.
However if you tried to fit the earlier 50mm/50mm radius windows to later models,
you would have to cut out more on the corners.
This is the same with
the inner trim panels too (if fitted), these will work with both the earlier
interior trims panels as well as the later trim panels.
Made to the original Land
Rover quality and specification, but these do not rattle or leak. Instead of
using felt in the window channels, which rots away or is the perfect growing
place for moss, we use proper rubber channel.
This kit includes the
rivets to attach them and also the rubber strip to cover the rivet heads. All
as factory specification.
The glass is fully road
