Never been available on the market before, brand new early style bonnet with galvanised frame to suit all Defender models 1983-1998 (Pre Td5). This will also fit Td5 models but is made as per the earlier spec which has a steel frame. Td5 bonnet used an aluminium frame.

The skin is made from 1.2mm 5021 grade aluminium as original. The frame is 1.5mm steel as original but instead of just being painted, we have had this hot dipped galvanised so will never rust.

This is a very high quality part manufactured in our own British factory. Every pressing is exactly as original so this makes it a very accurate replacement part.

All threaded holes for things such as the bonnet striker, the safety catch and the rubber buffers are all present and the threads are clear from zinc so every part will just swap straight over.

The quality of this part is second to none and is something we do not want to see arrived damaged, we will only send these in a wooden crate so the bonnet arrives to you in the condition it left our factory.
